Demos
Early recordings and works in progress from Jeff, including guitar, piano and MIDI-based demos. These tracks offer a glimpse into the songwriting process before a song becomes a finished Nonchalant Music production.
These Rooms
An acoustic guitar demo of “These Rooms,” featuring my original melody and arrangement in an early-stage recording.
We Can Still Dance
A guitar-and-vocal demo of an original song about an aging couple looking back on a lifetime together—and discovering that even as the years advance, the music and the memories can still keep them dancing.
Stumbling Gracefully
An intimate guitar-and-vocal demo of an original song about navigating life’s imperfections with humor, resilience and a little humility—learning that sometimes the best we can do is keep moving forward and stumble gracefully.
Hotel Lunches
An original songwriter demo reflecting on the small, ordinary moments that become part of a relationship’s story—shared meals, familiar places and memories that take on greater meaning with time.
